The ITE Partnership will provide a platform for ITE providers and Work Group Leads from London Thames Maths Hub to collaborate, discuss and review approaches for supporting the development of trainee teachers and NQTs. The Primary ITE Professional Development Materials will be used to review and evaluate current content as well as shape future learning opportunities.

This Work Group will provide an opportunity for new primary subject leads to work together on some key ideas and approaches to subject leadership through exploring and sharing existing successful practice.

SEND

Participants will explore ways to encourage reasoning and the use of manipulatives, providing a different approach to working with SEND students across mainstream and Special schools. The pedagogy introduced, and any resources trialled, would support the principles of Teaching for Mastery.
