Jane Coleman has been teaching in Croydon for over 20 years and has had involvement with many different types of schools.  She has a passion for coaching and mentoring colleagues and has a wealth of experience gained through her time as an AST, ECT mentor and Maths Lead. During her career, Jane has developed an enthusiasm for Teaching for Mastery in Mathematics, enjoying seeing the impact of this approach in her own teaching and the schools she has worked with.  Her teaching approach is guided by the 5 Big Ideas in Teaching for Mastery; aiming for children to master concepts and develop a deep understanding.  Jane is a Primary Maths Mastery Specialist and PD Lead who has recently left the school environment and is now working as an independent consultant for the Maths Hubs.
