Jo has over twenty years’ classroom experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. She now works as a maths adviser providing support and training to Croydon schools. Recent work includes: supporting mathematics subject leaders; developing mathematical reasoning; helping schools to develop a teaching for mastery approach; and leading a SSIF funded project focused on the use of coaching and video technology to improve teaching. Jo also led a Maths HubWorkGroup last year focused onimproving SEND provision in maths.
